SWAC PAC ENDORSEMENTS FOR THE ELECTIONNOVEMBER 3, 2020

Tuckahoe Village Election – Tuesday, September 15, 2020

Join SWAC PAC on Monday, July 20th as we stand with the essential workers of 32BJ during their national day of action to demand social, racial and economic justice – including in the workplace. The demands are respect for Black Lives and justice for essential workers of every race.

This is a call to the Republican-controlled U.S. Senate to pass the HEROES Act, which includes funding for hazard pay, adequate PPE and layoff protections for those who have lost their jobs during the pandemic. Essential workers have protected millions of Americans, now it’s time for the Senate to protect essential workers!

The starting location is the parking lot of the Ursuline Lot located at 1354 North Ave, New Rochelle, NY 10804. Signs will be provided at the starting point or you can come with signs that say: BLACK LIVES MATTER! PROTECT ALL WORKERS! PASS THE HEROES ACT! #ProtectAllWorkers

We want to hear from you. Send us a short video. Share what you are experiencing and learning during the time of COVID-19. It can be about you. It can be about your workplace. It can be about racial justice during the time of COVID-19.

Our goal is to collect and share stories from many different people – teachers, truck drivers, grocery store workers, home health aides, hospital employees, cleaners, building supervisors, electricians, carpenters, bus drivers, office workers, government employees, doctors. We welcome stories from anyone and everyone. Please send a video link to swacpac@gmail.com.
